An armed group of five men looted cash and mobile phones from Chintapurni Filling Station in Kasganj, Uttar Pradesh, after threatening staff at gunpoint. The robbery, captured on CCTV, has prompted an intense police manhunt and renewed concerns over security in the Patiali area.
According to preliminary reports, the attackers brandished country-made pistols to force employees to surrender the petrol pump’s earnings for the day. The gang allegedly snatched ₹42,000 in cash and seized the staff’s mobile phones to prevent any immediate call for help. The entire sequence unfolded within minutes and was captured clearly on the station’s CCTV cameras, now serving as key evidence in the ongoing investigation.
Police teams from the Patiali Kotwali are examining the footage and conducting door-to-door inquiries in nearby localities in an effort to trace the suspects.
